About Us

The Diocese of Tucson has worked diligently to design a program that adheres to health policies that will keep our students safe!  Sports are for students in grade 4 - 8.  Our kids play basketball, volleyball, and track!  Students who are interested in joining a team require a physical and paid fees.    We are always looking for great role models to help coach our students.  If you are interested in coaching or have questions about our sports program, please reach out to our front office to learn more about how to join!

Pursuing Achievement Through Higher Education (PATH) Tucson is dedicated to shepherding all current and alumni students of Santa Cruz and St. John the Evangelist on the path to and through college and to heaven by accompanying them on their educational journeys through tracking, supporting, and coaching. We team with the schools to provide the tools our children need to develop strong character and strengthen their spirituality through each stage of their education.

Educational excursions are part of reinforcing what is being learned in the classroom, and as a way to bring into the classroom real-world experiences. Generally, experiential learning increases student interest, knowledge, and motivation. Teachers carefully plan, organize, and use reflection to increase the impact that the educational excursion will have on students.

Overall, educational excursions help students identify their role as stewards of planet Earth, create connections to multi-dimensional learning, and identify themselves in future careers.

Science and engineering education are part of the school's core curriculum focusing on phenomenon-, project- and problem- based learning. Hands on learning leads to students improving their skill set to design, build, and re-engineer to make projects function as intended.
